Artificial Intelligence (AI) Concerns: Too Good to be True ... Usually Is

Five considerations before using AI:

  1. Inventory: Know everything that AI touches in your business
  2. Default to OFF for Now: Nothing related to AI should touch contract data. You may wish to turn it on later, but turning it off later is much more difficult.
  3. Written AI Policy: Documented is defensible.
  4. Separate Accounts: Marketing, Human Resources, Accounting, Procurement, etc. Departments should each have separate AI touch points.
  5. Know When to Refer: No one is a specialist in all the things.
