Attention Entrepreneurs & Small Business Owners:
Learn More About How WV SBA Can Help
| | Small business owners & entrepreneurs are invited to attend a fast-paced, 30-minute session offering a concise overview of how the SBA supports small business growth in West Virginia. Participants will learn about the SBA’s core programs, including access to capital, counseling and training resources, federal contracting opportunities, and disaster assistance. This training is ideal for startups, existing businesses looking to expand, and anyone who wants a clear understanding of what the SBA can do for them. | | October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month | | |
A good time to look at your cybersecurity and ask some questions that go beyond, “Do we have antivirus?”
- If ransomware hit tomorrow, could it get to your backups too?
- If you had to restore your systems, have you actually tested that process recently?
- If your network went down, how long could your business realistically operate?
- Do you know exactly who has admin access to your systems?
- When someone leaves, can their access be shut off immediately?
- If your internet went down, what parts of your business could actually keep running?
- And if an employee gets an email asking them to change a vendor’s bank information or send money, is there a process to verify it before they do?
These aren't hypothetical questions. They're the things we look at when we're trying to figure out how prepared a business really is. Cybersecurity isn't just about preventing an attack. It's about knowing what happens when something goes wrong and having a plan that works in the real world.
This Cybersecurity Awareness Month, take a few minutes to ask the questions. If you're not sure about some of the answers, give us a call at 304-521-6868.

Christmas is one of the best opportunities for your business to connect with employees, customers, and the community. The Appalachian Business Christmas Campaign is a professional video solution designed to help your business make the most of the season. There are different tiers available for different needs, ranging from a professional Christmas video to a complete content and distribution campaign. Depending on the tier you select, your central story can become an entire month of content designed to build appreciation, strengthen your reputation, and keep your business visible throughout the Christmas season.
Campaigns must be reserved by November 9, 2026, to allow enough time for planning, filming, editing, approval, and distribution. Schedule a call with Joe Justice Media to discuss your goals and determine which option is the right fit for your business.
