NEW Y’s MEN
We are delighted to announce the addition of one new Member this past week to our rapidly growing organization:
- Thank you to all Y’s Men Members who have “recruited and referred” their colleagues, friends and relatives to Y’s Men of Westport/ Weston. We are fortunate to welcome so many new, talented, committed and engaged Members
- Let’s make every effort to refer guests who could eventually become Members by the end of the Y’s Men Year – May 31, 2024; The two Existing Members who refer the most new Members from June 1, 2023 to May 31, 2024 will win the “2023 BILL MEYER Y’S MEN MEMBERSHIP AWARD” (1st and 2nd Prize Awards)

*Our bylaws stipulate that all prospective Members must be current or prior residents of either Westport or Weston, CT. Please do not refer anyone who does not meet this criteria.
MEMBERSHIP MONTH
March 2024 is Y’s Men designated Membership Month where our focus should be to invite prospective Y’s Men guests to any of our meetings or functions. We have a new supply of our “Prospective Member Cards” that you can carry in your wallet and present to someone who could become a future Y’s Men Member. These cards are available at the Membership Table every Thursday at the Church. The goal for the 2023-2024 Y’s Men year (to May 30, 2024) is to have every member attempt to invite at least one prospective member as your guest to any Thursday meeting, Activity or Social Event.
SAVE THE DATE
For all New Members who joined Y’s Men from November 1, 2023 through May 30, 2024, there will be a NEW MEMBER LUNCHEON on Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 11:30am until 1:15pm. Details will be sent to you in a personal invitation.
New Member Information Folders*
If you are a 2023 Member who joined Y’s Men any time between January 2023 and June 1, 2023, please contact me to receive the RED New Member Information Folders that are currently being distributed to all incoming new members. Each folder contains detailed information concerning the four components of Y’s Men: Activities, T+E, Social and Programs (Speakers) as well as contact information for all Chairs and Committee Leaders.
*These folders are now available to ALL MEMBERS upon request. You can obtain yours at the Membership Table on Thursday mornings at Saugatuck Congregational Church.
