Spring in the White Lake Area
|
|
 |
Spring in the White Lake Area always seems to arrive at the perfect time. After the chilly months of winter, many are eager for sunshine and longer days, and our area sure delivers!
These spring months ahead are the perfect time to plan home, yard, or garden projects. It's a great time to check your home filters, smoke alarms, air conditioning units, etc. In other words, the things we may not be thinking about all year. Luckily, our area has a vast and diverse business community who can help with those things. When looking at spring projects ahead, be sure to check out our local businesses who can get the job done.
Our area shops and restaurants get the same spring fever that many of you are familiar with, so they are open and eager to welcome you. Spring is a great time to check out a shop, restaurant, or brewery that you've never been to, or one you haven't been to in a while.
If you've been a part of the White Lake Area for any period of time, you know our parks and trails are great in any season--but spring is when we start to see them come alive. Take some time to enjoy the multitude of parks and trails our area has to offer. It's also a great time for fishing (our area has that covered in any season), whether on your own or through one of our great charters.
As you enjoy spring over the next few months, we hope we've given you some new ideas to soak in all that our area has to offer.

Looking Back:
Quarter One Highlights
January-March 2023
|
|
On Sunday, February 5, we held our annual Spoons & Tunes Soup-Tasting Fundraiser at North Grove Brewers. Thanks to our event sponsor, Shelby State Bank, and the donations of our generous local restaurants, all proceeds were able to go toward our beautification fund!
A huge thank you to all who participated and attended! It was a great night with awesome soups, chilis, music, and company!

On Saturday, March 25, we held our 10th annual White Lake Community Business Expo at Whitehall High School, held in conjunction with the Montague-Whitehall Rotary Club's Pancake Breakfast.
With hourly and grand prizes, giveaways, and freebies, this was a great event for all ages! The best part? Over 45 local businesses and organizations were represented! That's over 45 services offered in our White Lake Area that some may not have known about and now they do! We loved hearing people comment as they left that they didn't know our area had this or that service, or they didn't know one business or another offered something they were looking for. That's the purpose and heartbeat of this event!
This event continues to be free to the community thanks to our sponsors!
