What a spooktacular Tuesday it was as both our campuses came alive with Halloween spirit and an entertaining array of student and faculty/staff costumes! Lower School enjoyed a costume parade, dance, and carnival games, which were coordinated by our awesome parents. Middle and Upper School students got their competition vibes going with epic showdowns for the titles of Best Individual and Group Costumes! Congratulations to the following winners...

For this year's pumpkin decorating contest, 20 Middle School students embraced the challenge of creating the most impressive pumpkin. We are thrilled to announce the winners: Izzie Ortiz '31 secured the first-place position, followed by Annabelle Henderson '31 in second place, and Carl Wagner '30 taking third place. Students across both campuses celebrated Dia De Los Muertos by creating an 'ofrendas' honoring loved ones who are no longer living. Elements insluded fotos, velas, flores de cempasuchil, pan de muerto, calaveras de azucar, y papel picado.

Last Friday, our senior students brought their canine companions of all sizes to share in their classroom experience for a day. It was a cherished day on campus and one of the students' most beloved traditions!

GR.6 ZOMBIE WOUND LAB
During their Integumentary (skin) System lesson, sixth grade students had a blast crafting zombie wounds using petroleum jelly, red food coloring, toilet paper, and cocoa powder. The rest was left to the students' creativity, with a few showcasing promising talents in special effects.

FOOTBALL CIF OPENING ROUND TOMORROW AT 3PM
Our Owls take on Division 2 Coast Union tomorrow at 3PM at home for the CIF playoffs opener, after finishing second in the Tri-Valley League. CIF requires $10 admission for post-season events and $5 for students and children.

GIRLS TENNIS TEAM SHOWCASES GRIT IN NARROW CIF-SS LOSS
The Girls' Tennis team wrapped up their impressive season on Wednesday, narrowly falling to Esperanza High School with a 10-8 score in the opening round of the CIF-SS Division 4 match held at Laguna. The suspenseful match unfolded right to the final moments, and the Owls concluded their season with a commendable record of 7-5. Their outstanding performance nearly saw them overcome the challenge of a public school boasting an enrollment of 1,500 students. Owl pride!
