Preaching Text: Luke 2:41-52

Jesus gets lost!  Well, Jesus knows where he is, but his family is unable to locate 12 year old Jesus in Jerusalem during the time of the Passover.  Jesus is found chatting in the Temple with the rabbis. They are all amazed by His wisdom. Will we resolve to lean in to hear Jesus’ wisdom in 2025?

Mighty God, Your wisdom is timeless, not well contained in our concept of time. Yet we can use the passing of time to mark and celebrate our journey with You and all the ways You have been with us in 2024. We pray to know and see Your presence in 2025 as well. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
