Arts and culture provide social contributions that benefit the wider community such as neighborhood pride and cultural identity. Additionally, arts have beneficial economic and financial impacts. For these and so many more reasons, Placer County has officially designated November as Arts and Culture Month, along with the City of Auburn, and more to follow! Join us in celebrating our rich and vibrant arts and culture scene this month, see a show, visit a studio on the art tour, try a new art class!

ACPC Welcomes New Chair

After a 31 year career in the corporate world, her appreciation for giving back to the community keeps her very busy.

Twiana is only semi-retired recently launching a business consulting company, It’s Personal Enterprises. ACPC is fortunate to have her share her wealth of leadership and business performance knowledge for the arts. We are grateful for her strong leadership and hand-on action that are a great asset to ACPC.

Her most important honor is being a mother to her daughter, Alix, as she blossoms into an amazing young woman. Twiana passionately believes "the arts will save humanity" and her dedication to our community is appreciated.

ONG offers filmmaking workshops to tribes, schools and organizations.

Among the award winning films they have created is

"Something Inside Is Broken" with began airing Nationally on PBS on Oct 28.

"Gift of Fear" has one awards from San Francisco to Milan, and just got a distributor that will make it available on Amazon and other Video On Demand services! Watch for it in the spring of 2024.
