A new Veterans Fellowship Group is forming at Tucker First! Join Rev. Paul Yeun on Wednesday,

September 23, following Wednesday Night Supper as we gather to dream, share ideas, and begin building a fellowship for veterans, active-duty military, and their families. We need all of you—not just a few good men and women—to help form the core of this new group! Come ready to share your ideas for making this fellowship fun, vibrant, meaningful, and beneficial for everyone. Every year, Tucker First United Methodist Church sponsors a Great Day of Service for the Tucker Community as a day for giving back to our community through service to various local organizations.This event is open to everyone in the community, and we hope you’ll join us as we work together as a community of faith to make a difference here in Tucker. Invite your neighbors and co-workers!

Help us care for our unhoused neighbors through the Great Day of Service! We’re assembling Care kits that will be distributed throughout the community by the DeKalb Police Department.

Great Day of Service Celebration Breakfast!

Let’s celebrate our work in the community! Join us Sunday, September 27, at 9:00 a.m. in the Chapel for a special Celebration Breakfast. We’ll share stories, enjoy photos from the Great Day of Service, and celebrate the difference we made together. Bring a breakfast item to share, and we’ll wrap up in time for Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. Come celebrate, connect, and be inspired!

Powerful Tools for Caregivers:

A 6-week Series

Caring for a loved one can be rewarding, but it can also be challenging and overwhelming. St. Andrews Presbyterian Church invites caregivers to a six-week workshop designed to provide practical tools, encouragement, and support for navigating the caregiving journey while caring for your own well-being. Taste of Tucker Kids' Zone

Taste of Tucker is Saturday, October 3, from 1–6 PM at the Tucker Town Green behind Local 7! Tucker First UMC is teaming up with Embry Hills UMC to host the Kids’ Zone, filled with games, crafts, and fun for children of all ages. We need volunteers to help make the Kids’ Zone a success—sign up to serve! And don’t forget your furry friends! Pastors Owen and Jordan will offer a special Blessing of the Animals from 2–3 PM.
