IT'S OFFICIAL! PALMETTO BAY'S WEBSITE HAS A NEW LOOK...
The Village of Palmetto Bay is pleased to announce the launching of its newly-designed website! Palmetto Bay's team have been working diligently, implementing changes to the existing site to make the visitor's experience on the web a more pleasant one.

Our recently-issued community survey revealed to us that our website is currently the most popular medium used by residents to get their Village news. As we studied our website data, we also discovered that our users typically find information within two clicks, and also identified the services that are most utilized by the community. That information led us to designing a site that caters to those users and makes the website easier to navigate.

We could not be more excited to bring you our improved website!
New Website Features
Homepage Updates
  • Search box front and center to facilitate the finding of information
  • Immediate news relocated to the center of the homepage to be more visible
  • Frequently-used services are available from the website in one-click (police, garage sales, employment, etc...)
  • Additional or older news are available at the bottom of the page
  • Listing of meetings and events on the calendar

Entire Site Updates
  • Search engine and main menu categories are carried throughout the site (not just on the homepage)
  • New color scheme to compliment the Village logo and to improve readability
  • Sub-menu options remain static on the page even when the mouse is moved
  • Menu and sub-menu options are clearly defined from one another
  • Larger font size for easier reading
  • A dedicated page for accessing links on Instagram (IG does not support hyperlinks on its sites.)
  • A dedicated page for Twitter updates for anyone who does not have a Twitter account
"Residents" Tab
Have you noticed the "Residents" tab on our website?
That tab is created especially for Palmetto Bay residents.

When you click on the word "Residents", a menu full of items of interest for those who live in the community will appear, including a welcome letter and important information for your newly-established neighbors.

We welcome you to browse the tab and see what you will find that perhaps you did not know before, as a resident of our beautiful Village.

Where Do I Find It?
The most efficient way to find information on our site is to use the search engine box, which is now prominently displayed on the homepage.

Just type in one or more keywords and a list of possible matches will appear where you can browse the links and find exactly what you're looking for.

The navigation on the new site has been made easier by locating frequently-used items right on the homepage. However, if what you're looking for is not there, give the search box a try and you will not be disappointed.
