First Responder Appreciation Sunday

On Sunday, April 12 at each of the services, we're honoring the First Responders in our community! The call to worship, message and music will celebrate those who bless our community, and they will also receive a small gift! Please feel free to invite any first responders you know using the invitations on the narthex table. Additionally, you can use this website StPaulsLionville.org/firstresponders to send an invite via email, text or social media.

Pop Up Thrift Sale

Ready for a spring refresh? Come shop our pop up thrift store this Saturday and Sunday, April 11 and 12 from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm in the parsonage. Proceeds benefit the Chester County Food Bank and help fund repairs to our parsonage.

Rejoicing Spirits Service

Our next Rejoicing Spirits service will be on Sunday, April 12 at 4:00 pm. This is an informal, inclusive and adapted service open to all in the community, including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, regardless of faith background. The service includes joyous music, singing and brief, meaningful, pastor-led sermons.

Penny Wars Ends This Sunday!

PENNY WARS END THIS SUNDAY! As of Wednesday, Pastor Christian has $245.28 and Pastor Stuart has raised $156.65, while in the youth competition, John Lueders from St. Matthew's has $240.24 and Zack Heath from St. Paul's has $175.67. The pastor and youth who raise the highest amount will "win" the privilege of performing in front of the congregations. Our grand total to date is $817.84; if we raise $1,000 total combined, our Youth Director, Craig Miller, will be involved as well! Containers are in the narthex at both churches; be sure to vote with your pennies, coins, and dollars who you want to "win" in both contests!

Rejoicing Spirits Coordinator Needed

Our Rejoicing Spirits ministry is in need of a Program Coordinator for our once-a-month worship service. The position involves worship service planning, volunteer coordination, correspondence with group homes and agencies, and other administrative duties. Please consider joining St. Paul’s amazing ministry for the intellectually and developmentally disabled. More information about the position can be found by clicking here.

Please contact Pastor Stuart or Chris Robinson if interested.

Musical Notes From Lindsay

Honoring First Responders...Musically!

It was very fun to explore which hymns might lend themselves to this theme, and I thank Pastor Stuart for presenting me with this unique challenge.

Here are some words to listen for on Sunday, in honor of first responders:

At 8:00 am:

  • Gathering Hymn: "Rise Up, O Saints of God"
  • Expresses the need for the "hand of healing."
  • Hymn of the Day: " Lord, You Give the Great Commission"
  • "Heal the sick"
  • "Lord, you call us to your service"
  • "Mercy lead us to a just society"

At 10:30am:

  • Gathering Song: "Ready the Way"
  • "Let the broken be whole"
  • "Give us strength...so we may love more like you"
  • Song of the Day: "Will You Let Me Be Your Servant"
  • "We are here to help eachother"
  • "I will hold the Christ-light for you in the nighttime of your fear"
  • Sending Song: "Mighty to Save"
  • "Everyone needs compassion"

THANK YOU, FIRST RESPONDERS!

Don't forget you can find many of our upcoming March hymns and praise songs on the St. Paul's Spotify playlist for March 2026.
