Lead by Example and Finish Strong

As we move towards the final months of the 2025-2026 Optimist year, I have so many thoughts and pictures going through my mind of memorable moments shared with fellow optimists at district conferences, the Optimist International Convention, the World Oratorical Championships, and the Junior Optimist (JOI) Summit. These “Legacy of Giving” moments remind me that without dedicated optimists, none of these programs and memories would exist. 

Your committed acts of giving and service, as members and leaders of Optimist International, allow us all to experience the value of giving to the Optimist International Foundation. It’s shown as you Lead by Example through contributions to Dime A Day, President’s Club, 365 Club Banner Patch, JOIFUL Giving, and more.

I know we will all work hard to Finish Strong in our clubs and districts. Why? “Because it’s for the Children.”
