The ReMarks

July 9, 2025

Good morning Saint Mark! We hope you had a happy fourth of July. Here's what we have for you this week.

This Sunday is the 5th Sunday after Pentecost which focuses on how the church lives out its faith in the world. The 5th Sunday after Pentecost is rich in themes of freedom, transformation, justice, and community.

This Sunday, we will also begin a new sermon series, and Rev. Dr. Paula Lewis will be preaching her first sermon at Saint Mark, titled 'The Mission."

Matthew 28:16-20

Church News

Get Ready for a Sacred Shift

As part of renewing our legacy, the Sanctuary will undergo a season of renewal starting as early as July 28th. For about eight Sundays, we will worship together in Wade Hall, creating a cozy, spirit-filled environment during this season of renewal.

We would like to remind you that construction work is fluid and may often have delays. We have been informed that work may not start immediately on July 28th, but we will continue to keep you informed.

Pastor Charlotte shares what this means for our church and how we are preparing to move worship to Wade Hall beginning August 3rd in a Need to Know informational video now available for you to watch.

To stay updated, we have created a dedicated page on the Saint Mark website, Building Renewal Updates, where you can find the video, weekly updates, and all details in one place as we continue Renewing Our Legacy together.

Volunteer sign-up launches July 14th.
