"I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11

Dear Friends,

Global Pastor Training is celebrating its 10 year anniversary in 2025! It is hard to believe, but it was 10 years ago in January of 2015 that we launched GPT on a full-time basis. Please take a moment and rejoice with me over what God has done through GPT these last 10 years:

• Held 215 live, intensive training Workshops for poor and untrained pastors
• Trained over 22,000 serving pastors
• Through those pastors improving the lives of 1 million believers as faithful pastors are better able to shepherd their people.
• I recently was asked to preach at Christ Presbyterian, Houston, TX, where I formerly served as the pastor. I used the occasion to speak of GPT's 10th anniversary. I also used GPT's motto "Contending for the Faith" (from Jude 3) as the text. Please click on the video and watch if you want to hear my message.

GPT has now completed six of the 22 Workshops planned for The Kisii County Project, praise the Lord! We have already taken over 600 pastors through Tier 1 Training and we still have five more Tier 1 Workshops to go.

Once we complete training in Tier 1 for every interested pastor, we will begin training Kisii County pastors in Tier 2.

Please continue to pray for the pastors of Kisii County Kenya and for the church members they teach and lead.

GPT in India

Edwin, GPT's team leader in India has submitted a bold plan for big action in India with GPT in 2025. The plans include:

• Training 400 or more serving pastors in India in 2025.
• Publishing GPT's Tier 1 Workbook in Hindi in preparation for training Hindi speaking pastors for the first time in 2025.
• Edwin and the current team of four certified RT's in India plan to train 4 additional Regional Teachers for India in 2025.
• Edwin and the current team plan to become certified for Tier 3 this year!

Please pray for our brothers in India as they undertake this.

In 2024 GPT India held one Tier 1 Workshop and three Tier 2 Workshops, training over 100 pastors! Pictured are participants in one of the 2024 Tier 2 Workshops.

GPT in Africa

Thomas, GPT's team leader in Africa also has big plans and big prayer requests!

• GPT now operates in 10 different countries in Africa: Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, DRC, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, and Mozambique.
• We now have Regional Teachers leading GPT Workshops in English, Swahili, Bemba, French, Lugandan and Portuguese!
• Lord willing, Thomas hopes to hold over 40 live, intensive training Workshops throughout sub-Saharan Africa in 2025.
• Friends, these are big plans and bold initiatives. To carry them out we need faithful partners in prayer and financially. You can help us in several ways.
