April 2026 Issue:
Bronco Family Newsletter
| | Welcome from the Office of New Student Programs & Family Engagement | | |
Greetings Bronco Family!
April brings a welcomed academic instruction break to our students. This is a good time for students to rest, plan ahead, and begin to finalize their summer 2026 plans. Keep in mind, although classes are not in session, campus offices remain open so students can still connect with resources that can support them with identifying internships, ensuring they are making progress towards degree completion, or checking out a new resource.
April also means the launch of orientation registration for newly admitted Fall 2026 students. We look forward to supporting new admits and their families/supporters as you all navigate the transition to Cal Poly Pomona. There are a variety of events that you and your new admit will be invited to that will support community building, answer key questions, and ensure you are on track with checklist items and key deadlines.
Regardless of where your student is in the educational journey, we are here to provide support. We hope to see you all at an event soon!
Sincerely,
New Student Programs and Family Engagement
