The League works to protect the constitutional right of privacy of the individual to make reproductive choices. The League supports due process for all persons, including the right to a fair hearing, the right to counsel, the right of appeal, and the right to humane treatment and that no person or group should suffer legal discrimination. The League believes that immigration policies need to be responsive to those facing political persecution or humanitarian crises. We thank you for taking this important step forward to protect our communities."
