WEEKLY UPDATE

CHRISTMAS OFFERING UPDATE

Dear Church on the Hill Family,

I am so grateful . . . and genuinely moved to share an update on our Christmas Missions Offering.

Together, we have given $172,958.27 toward our $200,000 goal.

That number is far more than mere dollars. It is a powerful testimony of a church that is willing to step forward in faith, to trust God together, and to invest boldly in the mission opportunities and expanding partnerships that are planned for 2026. This offering is a clear and compelling sign that Church on the Hill is a congregation ready to go ALL IN for the sake of the gospel.

Thank you, church for your generosity, prayerfulness, and willingness to give sacrificially. Thank you for believing that what God is doing in and through our church matters, not only for us, but for the people and places we are called to serve. Your giving will have real, lasting impact as it fuels ministry, supports mission partners, and extends Christ’s love far beyond our walls.

While we did not quite reach the full $200,000 goal, what we have received is still something to celebrate with deep gratitude and holy joy. This offering is the highest amount received in the last 10 years! Glory to God! This offering reminds us that God is actively at work among us and that when God’s people respond with open hands and open hearts, the future is filled with hope.

This moment also points us forward. It invites us to keep praying, keep trusting, and keep stepping faithfully into what God has next. The story God is writing through Church on the Hill is still unfolding, and this offering is a meaningful chapter in that larger story of obedience, generosity, and mission.

With much joy as your pastor,

JC

MADE FOR MORE

Sermon Series: Made for More

When Jesus clears the temple, He reminds us that holiness isn’t about perfection—it’s about surrender. This weekend, we’ll explore what it means to guard what’s sacred, live with integrity, and reflect Christ in a world that desperately needs His light. Don’t miss this call to a deeper, fuller, more authentic faith. See you at 8:30 in the Chapel or 10:00 in the Worship Center.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Soup-er Bowl Lunch

As we begin our ALL IN journey, we’re taking time to celebrate the incredible work God is doing through our groups! Join us on Sunday, February 8th, after the 10:00 AM service for our “Soup”er Bowl Lunch—a fun and meaningful time to gather as one church family.

Bring your favorite pot of soup to share and enjoy fellowship with friends old and new. This is a simple yet powerful way to connect, celebrate stories of growth, and be reminded that we truly are Better Together. All are welcome—whether you’re in a group, looking to join one, or simply love good soup and good company!

Men's Wing Night

Men, you’re invited to join us for Men’s Wing Night next Wednesday, January 21st--an easy, low-pressure opportunity to connect, recharge, and build real friendships with other guys in our church and community. Whether you’re new or you’ve been around a while, this monthly gathering is a great way to step into brotherhood that encourages and sharpens your walk with Christ. Come enjoy good food, good conversations, and genuine connection. And don’t come alone—bring a friend, coworker, or neighbor who could use a night like this.

Winter Groups Launch

This winter, we’re stepping into a season to gather and grow together as one body in Christ. We’re reminded that we were never meant to do life—or faith—alone. Our groups are places to belong, to be known, and to be transformed as we learn, love, and live out God’s Word together. Learn more about the Sunday School classes, couples, men and women group opportunities.

Women's Wellness Night

Looking for ways to begin the new year with strategies to keep you healthy and focused? All women are invited to join us for Women’s Wellness Night on January 27th in the CafĂ© at 6pm!
