OCEAN BUSINESS SPECIAL EDITION
|
|
 |
Dear Colleague,
Welcome to our September News Letter
This month we will be focusing on the long awaited return of Ocean Business to the NOC in October.
I am sure you will all agree that the return of face to face exhibitions in the Ocean Technology World in the UK is very exciting. We are so pleased for the teams at Diversified and NOC who have persisted and against huge odds, will bring Ocean Business home next month. It is particularly encouraging to see that several of our overseas partners will be braving the trials and tribulations of international travel to be with us in Southampton next month.
We will be setting up shop in our usual spot G12, and with us this year will be our friends from Marine Sonic Technology with the latest version of their highly successful ARC EXPLORER MKII Side Scan Sonar; still the system with the highest resolution available anywhere. Also with us on G12 will of course be ecoSUB. Take a look at the latest versions of production vehicles, including the Hydrocarbon sniffer and SCOUT with side scan sonar and DVL. Also exhibiting will be many suppliers of sensors available on ecoSUB, so an ideal opportunity to catch up with them also.
We will also be showing for the first time, equipment from two of our newest partners, OBSCAPE, and EOM Offshore.
Can't wait to see you all, nearly on the other side.
Sincerely,
Terry Sloane
Managing Director

Remotely Operated Vehicles

Deep Trekker’s mission is simple: they want to give anyone on the earth an opportunity to explore the depths of the vast oceans, seas, lakes, or rivers with an ROV..
At OB, Deep Trekker will be launching & demonstrating some new features for their range of ROV's
The Deep Trekker range of small but powerful ROV’s have been designed with the mission in mind, and incorporate several unique features that not only make the vehicles perform better but more reliable, lighter, 4mm diameter, low drag tether, and simpler to operate. On board batteries, negate the need for a bulky surface power supply, and a patented pitching system, means only two thrusters are required for their ground breaking DTG. The Vehicles provide users with a choice of features and accessories to accommodate multiple missions with new larger more capable vehicles now available the PIVOT and REVOLUTION.
