VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
The Madison Arbor Day celebration, formerly known as May Day, is happening Saturday, April 27th. We need materials and hands on deck to help beautify the KRS grounds. Sign up here. Of note that children are welcomed but parents are responsible for their supervision. Please bring water bottles, gardening tools, gloves, and know that we dig in the dirt. We would love it if boy scout troops and girl scout troops could participate. Sign up for one slot if you’re a troop and note for us. Parents of older students, we honor service hours. Please let us know if your high school student wants to help us facilitate the day/activities. Shifts are one hour. Please note that we will not have access to restroom facilities. WE APPRECIATE YOU.
La celebración del Día del Árbol de Madison, anteriormente conocida como Primero de Mayo, se llevará a cabo el sábado 27 de abril. Necesitamos materiales y manos a la obra para ayudar a embellecer los terrenos de KRS. Registrate aquí. Cabe destacar que los niños son bienvenidos pero los padres son responsables de su supervisión. Traiga botellas de agua, herramientas de jardinería, guantes y sepa que cavamos en la tierra. Nos encantaría que pudieran participar tropas de boy scouts y girl scouts. Regístrese para un espacio si es una tropa y tome nota para nosotros. Padres de estudiantes mayores, respetamos las horas de servicio. After a long hiatus the KRS Learning Garden is back! Kudos to the awesome Ms. Hoekstra and Ms. Smith for making this experience possible and proud. Click here to volunteer for the library! Back by popular demand it’s time to volunteer at the KRS library. Volunteer shifts require a set amount of time so that you’re present to assist in numerous ways and help make shelving efficient and effective. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to become familiar with a beautiful space at KRS.

Field Day is coming! Please save-the-date for 5/30 (rain date is 5/31). This is an all day affair that features multiple stations, grade level tug of war, and a color run. We will need 100 volunteers to make magic for faculty and staff. A formal sign up genius is coming, but please consider reserving as much time as you can give us (either half day or full day needed). We are absolutely committed to ensuring this is a safe, smooth, and successful event.
¡Se acerca el día de campo! Guarde la fecha para el 30 de mayo (la fecha de lluvia es el 31 de mayo).
