Walk Through October
The Teacher Trip was a Success!
We are so thankful that Georgia, Dennis, and LaNell came down to help the teachers at ALCS. During their week stay, they were able to encourage, advise, and provide some extra resources for all the teachers working within the English curriculum. Teacher Nick Heider says, "I loved talking with them last year and was super excited when I found out they were coming again this year. I had several new ideas that I wanted to bounce off of them. They left me with many different resources and tools that have already impacted my classes!" Please continue to pray for the teachers at ALCS.
First Baptist Red Oak
First Baptist Red Oak was our last group of the year. While they were here, they did house visits, played with the kids, and worked on setting up a library in the school at San Lucas. It was a joy for us to watch them grow their relationships with old friends in San Lucas as well as make new ones. Please pray for the people in San Lucas.

Shannon in the States
Shannon had the opportunity to speak at Howard Payne University's chapel, teach a couple classes there, speak at a week long revival, and take part in a high school career fair.

Kristi's Health
Please continue to pray for Kristi. She just returned from the States in order to find out what is wrong with her health. Pray for wisdom for the doctors, and pray for Kristi's body and mind. Check out our blog to read an excerpt about Kristi's experience.
Youth Group
The youth group is growing! Josh has introduced service squads, and the kids love it. Service squads are groups designed to help the kids love and serve others by using the gifts and talents given to them by God. We have a prayer squad, design squad, worship squad, welcome squad, AV squad, and administration squad. Please continue to pray for the youth group. Pray that God would continue to grow it and that God would add Honduran leadership so that the youth group can continue whenever we have to go back to the States.
61 Isaiah Conference
It's more than a trip, it's a journey, is an event we will be hosting January 4, 2020. For many, missions is a one time event, but we believe missions is a journey that is more than a one week adventure. Missions is a life journey. We would like to invite you to come see what this journey is all about. We are going to teach, learn, celebrate, pray, and eat together. This missions conference is just a step in the journey, but hopefully it will be an important step for you and your church. The event is free, all you have to do is RSVP. Make sure to follow us on social media as we announce more details in the coming weeks.
