It is time for the Christ Church June RaiseRight Order!

Paul Ambos, will be placing a new card order on the morning of Monday, June 1. Please place your orders accordingly. If you plan to mail him an order with a check, mail it by Wednesday, May 27.  Please advise him by email when you mail it of what your order is so he can place it on time despite possible Post Office delays. If you place your own order directly on the RaiseRight website or app, he will be able to see it there when he orders the monthly batch.

Don’t want to write a check? No problem! Use the RaiseRight payment options through your checking account or credit card (checking costs a 29 cent charge per order; credit cards charge a percentage that is usually more).  If you want physical cards delivered directly to your home, you can arrange delivery through the app. There is a charge for delivery.  If you order for delivery through Paul, the church covers the delivery charge. RaiseRight website is https://www.raiseright.com/shop.

Vestry Key Topics

· Sheila Cooper, Search Committee Chair, was a guest of the vestry meeting and shared an update on the Search process. The committee is eagerly awaiting results of the parish survey and will meet several times in the next few months to develop the Parish Profile. They anticipate an electronic version of the profile ready by early summer with hard copies to follow.

· People's Warden Jonathan Gloster shared an update from the 4th Century Task Force. The contract with Kyanite Partners has been reviewed by our legal counsel, Paul Ambos, and minor changes suggested were accepted by Kyanite. A pre-meeting will be held on May 13th and the official project kick-off will be May 27th. Members of the 4th Century Task Force are encouraged to attend the kick-off if they are available. See Jim Nichols with any questions.

· Deacon Daphne shared an update from the Special Events Committee which will meet again on May 13th. The next big upcoming event they are working towards is the July 4th Celebration at Christ Church. They are looking for music and parishioners willing to serve as tour guides of our property (talking points will be provided!). Please see Deacon Daphne if you'd like to help this project as a tour guide or in any other capacity.

Christ Church is hosting a Fundraising for ARM THIS Sunday, May 24!

Christ Church is proud to support ARM (Archangel Raphael's Mission) in their ongoing mission to bring essential health and hygiene services to those in need.

ARM believes that no one should have to live without basic necessities.

Their work is guided by three core values:

Dignity. Hospitality. Mobility.

With your help, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of many.

Donate today or on Sunday and be part of this vital mission.

Donations can be submitted to Christ Church via check, cash, or Zelle. Be sure to reference ARM on the subject line.

Calling All Parishioners: Share Your Gifts for Christ Church!

Have you ever noticed that the same faces are always busy behind the scenes, keeping Christ Church vibrant and welcoming? We’re grateful for their dedication—but imagine how much more we could accomplish together!

Pssst… there’s more to come!

Alongside the Search Committee’s survey about what we seek in a new Rector, we’ll soon be distributing a very short questionnaire to discover the talents and passions within our parish family. On Sunday, May 31st, we invite you to share your gifts—no matter how big or small—so you can help shape the future of Christ Church.

Not sure you have a talent to share? Think again!

· Can you sew? We need hands to help stitch vestments.

· Enjoy gardening? Carlos could use help keeping our grounds beautiful and weed-free.

· Love to bake? Bring treats for coffee hour—or help plan a parish lunch or dinner!

· Have a knack for organizing, decorating, or welcoming newcomers? There’s a place for you!

Everyone has something to offer. When we all pitch in, the work becomes lighter, the parish grows stronger, and the journey is more joyful.

So, bring your pencils, your ideas, and your enthusiasm on May 31st! We can’t wait to learn more about your gifts and passions.

Together, let’s make Christ Church a place where everyone’s talents shine!

Join St. Alban’s online each Thursday evening from 7pm- 8pm for Prayer Meeting and Bible Study. St. Alban’s has encouraged the wider community to join us and many of the attendees come from different congregations locally as well as internationally.

We invite people to testify if they are prayerfully led and also encourage them to send their prayer requests in advance if they wish. Some attendees come prepared from time to time to not only testify, but to give a word of encouragement.

Please see the Zoom invitation below.
