There are exciting opportunities for telemedicine in Mississippi schools that are being discussed and we want to make sure our family doctors play a pivotal role in providing care to these children. If you or your practice is interested, please contact the MAFP.

We feel it is important that the children who live in your county are taken care of by a physician in their own county. These telemedicine visits will be completed with a nurse in attendance with the student, and a variety of technologies will be used for the exam. The visits will be acute care visits which hopefully lead to being seen in your clinic as their medical home.
