Psalm 28:7
“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him."
NKJV
Recently, it came to my attention that someone has been spoofing my email address—sending messages that appear to be from me but are not. While this can be a troubling experience, I want to reassure you of a few important things:
- The messages did not originate from me.
- If you receive an email that seems suspicious or inconsistent with my usual tone or intentions, please do not respond or click any links.
- Thank you to all that called to verify that it wasn't me. It was nice to hear from you.
- We live in a fallen world, and fallen people will do evil and bad things.
-
Technology, like everything else, can be misused. But let us not be shaken. Paul reminds us in Ephesians 6:11 to
“put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.”
We are called to be wise as serpents and innocent as doves (Matthew 10:16). If you have been affected or confused by one of these messages, I ask for your understanding and continued prayers. Also, please remain cautious in handling emails and verify any unexpected communication.
I pray for whoever has done this, that they would come to know the love of Christ, which surpasses all understanding. So let us extend forgiveness and remember the words of Jesus in Luke 23:34
“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”
Thank you for your trust and continued fellowship. Let's stand together in truth, grace, and the power of God.
Blessings,
Pastor Artie Kassimis
