2025 ACCG Annual Conference

The Annual Conference is two weeks away. This year's theme, 159 Strong, will feature a diverse lineup of educational opportunities that celebrate the unique strength of the Peach State, while equipping county leaders with valuable skills and resources to enhance their leadership abilities. Read further for conference reminders and session previews to help you prepare.

Attend the Legislative Update to Learn What Transpired During this Year's Legislative Session

Friday, April 25

10:45 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Join ACCG’s Director of Governmental Affairs Todd Edwards for an overview of what bills impacting counties survived the 2025 legislative session. Todd will also share information on how to get involved in the Association’s policy development process to prepare for the 2026 legislative session. The 2025 Legislative Advocate of the Year will also be recognized.

Get a Taste of Savannah at the Starland Yard Food Truck Park

Friday, April 25

5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Join us as we explore Starland Yard, Chatham County’s first award-winning food truck container park. The project stands as a testament to economic development, turning a vacant lot into a vibrant community hub. Located in the historic Starland District, Starland Yard features more than 20 upcycled shipping containers and includes rotating food trucks, a Neapolitan pizzeria, and more.

If attendees opt to not use rideshare services, transportation will be provided from the Convention Center to Starland Yard. When returning from Starland Yard, there will only be one drop-off point at the Bohemian Hotel, near the Hyatt. Be sure to stop by the check-in table in the lobby near the Exhibit Hall for additional information.

Connect with Exhibitors During the County Buyers Mart

11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Interact with more than 100 exhibitors that offer products and services to counties during the County Buyers Mart. Prior to attending the conference, consider your county's needs and make plans to visit exhibitors who can assist. The key to successfully navigating the Buyers Mart floor is to prepare in advance. Another perk for participating is the opportunity to win a prize. Exhibitors will have a limited number of cash prize tickets to distribute, so visit as many as you can to be sure you get a ticket. 

Enjoy a Round of Pickleball

This year, we're bringing back pickleball. After connecting with exhibitors, stop by the pickleball court to cheer on your county peers or showcase your athletic skills.
