Happy New Year, ASID California Central | Nevada Members!

As we step into 2026, I want to begin by thanking each of you for the incredible momentum you helped create throughout 2025. Your creativity, professionalism, and enthusiasm shaped a year filled with connection, learning, and meaningful progress for our chapter—and I’m grateful for the strong foundation we now carry into the year ahead.

The new year brings with it fresh opportunities to grow, collaborate, and celebrate the power of design across our region. Our board has been busy planning an engaging calendar for 2026, including new CEUs, expanded regional gatherings, chapterwide collaborations, and programs that build on the success of last year’s events. We’re excited to continue strengthening partnerships with our sponsors and creating valuable experiences for designers, students, and industry partners alike.

Most of all, I’m energized by the commitment I see in our community—the way you share insights, support one another’s work, and show up with passion for the design profession. That spirit is what makes this chapter extraordinary, and it will continue to guide us in the months ahead.

Celebrating Excellence, Innovation & Impact in Interior Design

The Las Vegas Design Center (LVDC) and the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) California Central | Nevada Chapter are proud to announce the upcoming Annual ANDYZ Awards, returning to Las Vegas Summer Market 2026, held Sunday, July 26 – Thursday, July 30, 2026.

Created to spotlight the best of the best in residential, commercial, and specialty design, the ANDYZ Awards honor projects that showcase exceptional creativity, functionality, and forward-thinking solutions. Each year, talented designers from across the West Coast—and beyond—submit their work to be recognized by a distinguished panel of ASID industry professionals.

The ANDYZ Awards continue to champion the designers, firms, and students whose work elevates the built environment and enriches the lives of those who experience it.

A Tradition of Design Excellence

Since their inception, the ANDYZ Awards have celebrated outstanding achievements across multiple categories, including:

• Best Residential Design
• Best Commercial Design
• Best Hospitality Design
• Best Outdoor Space
• Best Showroom Design
• Best Student Project
• And more categories to be announced for 2026

Projects are evaluated on innovation, technical execution, environmental sensitivity, visual impact, and overall design excellence—reflecting ASID’s mission to demonstrate how design transforms lives.

In 2025, the ANDYZ Awards spotlighted an extraordinary group of winners whose work captured the spirit of innovation and artistry in the industry. We look forward to building on that momentum as we prepare for the 2026 celebration.
