Description: We will depart Rocklin on a Sierra College bus heading to Coit Tower for a tour of their Depression Era murals then it's off to Chinatown for a historic tour with a Dim Sum lunch. We will check into OLLI's favorite SF Hotel, The Proper, and have a lite meal at their rooftop bar before proceeding to the new SF Jazz Center (pictured above) for a Centennial Concert celebrating the lives of jazz greats Miles Davis and John Coltrane. The next morning, we head to the famous Palace Hotel for brunch in its stained-glass enclosed Garden Court. Following brunch, we head to the Legion of Honor Art Museum for what the New York Times Art Critic Jason Farago calls the finest fall and winter art show in the US-- "Manet and Morisot." The show celebrates two of the finest French impressionists-- Edouard Manet and Berthe Morisot. We then drive home with beauty in our eyes and music in our soul. Tour leader-- Terry McAteer
