Dear Parents,
This year, Archway Trivium West will be working with the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) on a project regarding a universal screening for social challenges for public schools. The idea is that screening children for social challenges early and identifying and addressing those challenges will have a significant positive effect on their school experience. We plan take a role in the research that SARRC is doing in this area this year. Some frequently asked questions about this project are addressed here.
You are also invited to a Q&A session with myself, Great Hearts’ Director of Exceptional Student Services, and a representative from SARRC regarding the project. At this session you will hear more about the work that SARRC and Great Hearts have already done and plans for the project in the future.
The Q&A session is scheduled for Thursday, December 9 at 6:00 PM in the Archway MPR. We look forward to seeing you there!
Sincerely,
Clay Scott
Headmaster
