Summer Sermon Series - The Tree of Life: God's Promise of Salvation - Starts Sunday, June 19
Over the summer, Pastor Mark will be leading us through this series that will help people of all ages better understand the grand story of salvation - from creation and the Old Testament to Jesus coming as our Savior. All are welcome to worship in-person or live streaming.

The Crossways Sunday Morning Bible Class is presently following a study called The Story. This study explores the story of the Bible and shows how The Story of Scripture is also our story.

This class will be taking a summer break from June 5 until about July 17. All participants are encouraged to join in on one of the other adult Bible classes during this time.

The Story - Linda Hinkle - Conf Room 15E
The Women’s Bible Study group is currently looking at the book The Story, which is the Bible written in the form of a novel. Please note: this class will be starting The Tree of Life study on Sunday, June 19.
Our class is presently working through the video series called THE STORY, which explores God’s Word as the Master Narrative of God’s plan of Salvation for His people through the work of His Son, Jesus. We invite you to join us on Thursday evenings as we journey together.

Youth Garage Sale - June 2-4 - 9am-6pm - Messiah Gym
Donations of all kinds are welcome. You can drop off items in our storage unit at your convenience or you can drop off donations AFTER MAY 27. All funds received will go to our Youth's efforts in attending the National Youth Gathering in Houston this summer. Please spread the word and come shop for your own treasures. Aluminum Can Pull Tabs - Keep Collecting and Bringing Them In
Thank you to all who have saved and brought their pull tabs. We will be taking our whole collection to Ronald McDonald House around the middle of July, so be sure to bring any you have before then and place them in the marked jar at the Messiah Care Corner.

Grab your family, bring your lawn chairs or a blanket, invite a friend, and come out to enjoy some awesome music featuring Messiah's own praise band, SoulFire. We'll have burgers, hot dogs, sides, drinks and desserts. Games and fun for the kids, too. Help us show hospitality to our neighbors and enjoy good company together. At the meeting on May 22, the Standing Rule changes were approved. The congregation is still financially in a deficit for the year. Expenditure of mission study committee recommendations were postponed due to our current financial situation. Any additional offerings or gifts are greatly appreciated. S.O.A.R. June Luncheon - Nelly Castaneda, I Remember - Friday, June 24 - 11am - South Pod
Our June monthly luncheon event will feature Nelly Castaneda as she shares about growing up in Mexico and the strength and hope she received from her mother. Nelly has recently written a book called I REMEMBER in which shares her memories of how her mother was an inspiration for her and her siblings as they grew up in Mexico.
