Good Neighbor Campaign - Still Time to Give!

As we approach year end, a reminder that our annual Good Neighbor Campaign is still underway!

When faced with health challenges, patients and families can feel overwhelmed. Often, just a little bit of help can go a long way to remove barriers to healing. Gifts from Good Neighbor help support medical equipment, nutritional supplements, assistance paying for prescriptions, transportation to and from appointments and more.

Myrna (pictured) has received help getting to and from treatment at Bronson Battle Creek."I think it's beautiful" she says. "I'm glad I'm in a community that does that for people - no matter what your status is."

Your support is vital to ensure everyone in our community has access to the care and resources they need to manage their health challenges.

Art Expansion in Loving Memory

We are honored to share the expansion of the Mothers’ Milk Bank Memorial Tree. A companion design to the original tree was recently installed in Bronson’s North Pavilion.



The beautiful clay and ceramic pieces are adorned with glass leaves engraved with the names of babies who have passed away. Their mothers, amidst their own grief, selflessly donated their breast milk to ensure that premature and sick babies could receive this priceless gift.

The tree was made possible by generous Foundation donors in honor of the NICU cuddlers.

The art pieces were designed by Kalamazoo artist Conrad Kaufman, and the leaves created by Larry Galdes. The tree trunk is inscribed with the following: “We remember the babies born sleeping. Those we held but could not take home. Those who came home but could not stay.”

Bronson's First NextGen Health Ambassadors

The first cohort of Bronson NextGen Health Ambassadors have graduated! This group of leaders took part in 8 monthly sessions, exploring the role of Bronson Healthcare in our communities. They finished their experience by presenting two capstone projects. We are grateful to have them as ambassadors for Bronson!
