Program Highlights

Dodge Nature Center

Elementary students attended Dodge Nature Center's Air Around Us. They learned all about air, wind, temperature, and so much more!  Thank you to the South St. Paul Garden Club for supporting these important educational experiences for the students!

Long Lake Conservation Center

High School students in Tatiana Walker's class took a 3 day/2 night trip to Long Lake Conservation Center in Palisade, MN in April. All of the students have identified educational disabilities, and most have never had the opportunity to connect with the environment in a meaningful way.

This educational experience gave students access to activities including canoeing, archery, a bog trek, camping skills and so much more! One of the students even designed the shirts they are wearing in this picture, especially for the trip! The conservation center was so impressed with the shirt design, they will now be selling them to other visitors!

The opportunity was funded by the Gru Family Endowed Program Fund.
