SAFETY IN THE PARKS
While out and about in the parks, our Ranger Division would like to remind you of a few safety tips and rules for everyone to have the most enjoyable experience.
- Do not leave valuables inside your vehicle in plain sight. Properly secure your belongings or leave them at home.
- Carry your cell phone or have a buddy join you while exercising in the parks.
- Speed limit in ALL parks is 15 mph, be vigilant and watch for pedestrians.
- Dogs are required to be on a leash at all times and owners are responsible for removing pet waste.
- No motorized vehicles, including golf carts, on trails, sidewalks or grass.
- Please be sure all fires within a barbecue pit are extinguished prior to leaving.
- Please be courteous to other park visitors by picking up your litter and avoiding disruptive behavior.
- Keeping your cell phone close can not only save your life in an emergency but also aid in saving the lives of others.
