As Western North Carolina continues to recover from the devastating impacts of Hurricane Helene, Veterans Bridge Home has been actively supporting our sister organization, Veteran Services of the Carolinas, in Arden, Asheville, and Swannanoa. Since Monday, October 7, an incredible 119 volunteers have dedicated 1,547 hours to relief efforts! Special thanks to Atrium Health, Bank of America, TIAA, Nucor Corporation, Compass Group, Deloitte, and Wells Fargo for leading the charge with their amazing volunteer teams.
But we still need your help! Relief efforts, especially at the Arden Distribution Center, are ongoing, and your support can make a huge difference. We are re-focusing our volunteer efforts on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, so please consider joining us. Our Western NC veterans, their families, and communities need you!
