At this week’s 1 Million Cups, Jose Salazar will join John Marin and our Startup Community. Salazar, a native of Venezuela, provides full stack engineering simulators for the energy industry.
Jose Salazar, MBA, PMP is founder of Enetor and has held executive positions leading engineering, finance, risk and technical integrations with an array of international organizations. For the past 3 years he has also served as CFO and board officer for an international consulting firm. Salazar has completed entrepreneurship programs at Babson College, George Mason University, IESA and Universidad de Oriente.
Enetor provides multidisciplinary engineering simulators for the design of energy facilities. “We are a project design and technology company focused on engineering simulators for the energy industry.” “We are committed to meeting the needs of our clients with quality products, minimizing health risks, maintaining safety in the workplace and avoiding environmental impact. The Discussion. 1 Million Cups is a national entrepreneurship program of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, which promotes peer learning and professional connections that assist entrepreneurs. Since 2014, 1 Million Cups - Richmond has been pioneered by RVA Works, a local nonprofit providing educational and financial services for new business owners. At each 1 Million Cups, business founders as guest speakers share about their ventures and discuss the challenges that they are facing during the development process. Participants can learn from the speakers’ experiences, discuss valuable insights and make connections within an audience of peer entrepreneurs.
