Grants for Abandoned Manufactured

Home Removal

Property owners in Henderson County with an abandoned manufactured home on their property are invited to apply for a grant to have the home removed. The grant cycle is from July 1, 2026, to

June 30, 2027. The grant will cover half the demolition cost. The winning demolition contractor has a base quote of $ 4,850, so the owner match is $ 2,425. Cost is increased by weight over 20,000lbs, contents, or additions. For applicants that have an individual annual income less than $40,000, Henderson County will pay the entire cost.
