The New Testament is all about Jesus, but at the same time it’s all about you and me. It is the most magnificent, best-selling love story of all time. This love story is both deep and wide. Deep with love and wide through promise. But where did it come from? What makes it so popular? What is the story and meaning behind it? Join us for 5 weeks as we dig deeper into the book that defines our faith, The New Testament.

LADIES, HERE'S THE NEXT BOOK TO TALK ABOUT!
When: Tuesday, June 22
We are excited to share that the next book that will be up for discussion is The Henna Artist by Alka Joshi. We plan to meet on Tuesday, June 22 at the home of Sara & Wanda Allaire with hopes that it will be safe to meet together, outside, and with a zoom backup for anyone who can’t attend in person. Location confirmation, address and zoom link to come closer to the time. Here is a brief description of the book from Amazon:

Escaping from an abusive marriage, seventeen-year-old Lakshmi makes her way alone to the vibrant 1950s pink city of Jaipur. There she becomes the most highly requested henna artist—and confidante—to the wealthy women of the upper class. But trusted with the secrets of the wealthy, she can never reveal her own…Known for her original designs and sage advice, Lakshmi must tread carefully to avoid the jealous gossips who could ruin her reputation and her livelihood. As she pursues her dream of an independent life, she is startled one day when she is confronted by her husband, who has tracked her down these many years later with a high-spirited young girl in tow—a sister Lakshmi never knew she had. Suddenly the caution that she has carefully cultivated as protection is threatened. Still she perseveres, applying her talents and lifting up those that surround her as she does.

MEN'S BREAKFAST ON ZOOM IN 2021
When: 1st & 3rd Thursdays @ 6:30am
Next date: May 20
Please join us from your home as we study the Gospel of Mark. The Gospel of Mark chronicles Jesus’s journey from Galilee to Jerusalem. Along the way, the Messiah gathers a ragged band of disciples. As crowds grow and dwindle on the road to Jerusalem, only a few stick by the Suffering Savior on the road of discipleship.

In this 11-part series on the Gospel of Mark, author and speaker Francis Chan invites us to walk with him along the ancient ways of the Master. Tracing the steps of Jesus and the Twelve through Israel, Francis explores the major themes of the Gospel of Mark, and asks: Are we willing to take this journey to embrace discipleship? Email Pastor Tom below to get set up for this next study.
WEDNESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY
