President's Message from Cindy Morris
We are so excited to be back in person for our annual 365 Breakfast!
This event is one of our most important as it raises essential funds for many of our programs that support Peoria Public Schools students, families, and staff.  In order to have the biggest impact, we are asking each breakfast attendee to become a member of our 365 Annual Giving Club with a donation of $365 (just $1 per day for a year). Although, any donation amount is greatly appreciated!

This year the breakfast will be held in the gymnasium at Woodruff Career & Technical Center with a delicious buffet-style breakfast prepared by Peoria Public Schools' own (award-winning!) culinary students.

Our featured speaker will be PPS alum and Bradley’s Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics, Chris Reynolds. Read more about Dr. Reynolds' inspiring career HERE!

A donation of $50 or more will reserve a spot at this important event.
Thank you to our Event Sponsors!

Classroom Grant Program
This year we were able to provide $31,266 to fund 37 projects between our Classroom, STEM and Field Experience grant awards! Our Classroom and STEM grant programs are also made possible by funding from the Yeomans Fund and the Peoria NEXT Foster Fund at the Community Foundation of Central Illinois. We are so excited to see these grant projects in action!
Congratulations to our Classroom Grant Program Recipients!

Adopt a School Update: Making the Grade
Thank you so much to our community partners who helped support the Making the Grade program at Sterling Middle School and Lincoln K8 last week. Mentor volunteers from the Bradley University Interactive Media Department and the Peoria Riverfront Museum supported some of our middle school scholars by helping them create academic goals for the second semester.

We are so grateful to these community partners for these supports and creating such an impactful opportunity for our students.
Looking for Virtual Career Speakers
The See It Be It program is a virtual career speaking opportunity where professionals share a little about their job with our youngest learners. We are currently looking for professionals who work in government, engineering, health care, and communication to help impact our young scholars this December.

If this is YOU, please contact Matt Violet at matthew.violet@psd150.org
If they can See It, they can Be It!
Check out Buzz Chats - our Live Video Series!
We are so excited for this school year's season of Buzz Chats! Each monthly episode will feature a chat with a PPS alum and Cindy (a 1985 Woodruff grad herself!) and can be viewed live on our Facebook page at 5 PM on the 2nd Thursday of the month.

Missed our last episode with Manual High School grads - Daniel, Derrick, and Devon Booth? No problem, you can view it on our Facebook page at any time!
