SFSO Persists in Fight Against COVID-19
The Sheriff’s Office holds a unique position in the fight against COVID-19 because of our work administering the county jail.

The virus has been especially hard on congregate living settings like jails and prisons.

Everyone who enters San Francisco County Jail including employees, visitors and the justice-involved gets tested for COVID regularly.

This protocol helps intercept the virus and control the spread of COVID.
It’s vital to everyone’s health and safety to stay informed especially as the Delta variant accelerates and spreads through our community.

If you have not been vaccinated, please contact your health care provider now or visit sf.gov and arrange to protect yourself against the serious health risks posed by the COVID-19.

On Wednesday, July 28, SFSO staff returned home thanks to wet conditions, which brought much-needed relief to firefighting efforts.
