Local & Regional Support for the Eabametoong First Nation: Loss of School Fund

We would like to thank Englobe for hosting such a wonderful (and delicious) event.

Englobe hosted the BBQ at their Thunder Bay and Sudbury branches and raised $4700.

All of the money raised will go directly towards the Eabametoong First Nation children and youth as the community works to build a new school.

Achieving the Dream by Hitting the Green

On Friday, June 14th, we had the honour of hosting the "Achieving the Dream by Hitting the Green" golf charity event. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our main organizers, Colin Sobey and our Executive Director, Sharon Nate, as well as our golfers, volunteers, and Matawa Education and Care Centre staff. With a turnout of 150 golfers, an incredible $56,925 was raised, this achievement was made possible by the unwavering support of our donors. We eagerly anticipate your presence at our next event!

Quick edit! We published a thank you message to our Achieve the Green By Hitting the Green attendees and sponsors last week, and we misspelled two of our amazing Hole Sponsors. Miigwetch again to Superior Fire Alarms and Warrior Supplies for making our first year memorable!
