Mountain Gratitude

$50,000 Match Extended to Sunday, December 4

We are very grateful to our generous donor for providing these matching funds, and to you, our Mountain supporters who have already made contributions. We are at $38,465 -- getting close to our goal. This will make a big difference because every donation will be doubled, and that means we can double what we accomplish! Many others of you have indicated intentions to support this campaign. We have all been very busy with the election, Thanksgiving, and other events. Therefore, we are extending the matching opportunity a few more days so more people can take advantage of this generous match.

Ways to Participate

Contributions to the Annual Fund Contributions to Special Projects Staff housing We are within $100,000 of breaking ground! This project will take care of staff, supporting the work of this special place.  Dam for our lake This State-mandated repair is important for youth and adult programming – for water sports as well as environmental education. High-Efficiency Energy Equipment   The Southface Good-Use Grant of $60,000 is matched by The Mountain for a total of $120,000, providing for HVAC systems in the Rec Hall and Commons, mini-splits in duplexes and bunkhouses, and other energy-saving equipment.  Wish-List items Examples of items on the Granting Wishes are bee suits for youth and adults, fruit or nut trees for the food forest, tents or backpacks for outdoor adventure, a golf cart, and much more.

Raffle Everyone contributing to this matching campaign is entered into a raffle.   Five winners will be drawn, each receiving a $75 gift certificate to be applied to MountainCamp, youth or adult Farm Camp, farm dinner or tour, Mountain design program, or gift shop purchase.
