Dear Friends,
Please join me in welcoming Kate Spaulding as our Chief Strategy Officer at exalt. She comes to us with over 15 years experience driving social impact change in government, policy and public affairs.
Kate most recently served as Director of Strategic Initiatives at the Mayor’s Office of Engagement and prior to that in the NYC Department of Probation as Special Advisor to the Commissioner and Director of Intergovernmental & Legislative Affairs. There, she managed Commissioner initiatives, strategic partnerships, elected official relationships, and the legislative portfolio. During her tenure at DOP, she led the development and implementation of a holistic case management system and secured over $1M for innovative programming for people on probation and their communities. She is also an Adjunct Professor at the Harry Van Arsdale School for Labor Studies, part of SUNY Empire State University and holds two BAs in Urban Studies & Political Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh and a MS in City and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute.
I look forward to working with Kate on my Executive Leadership Team to advance our ambitious and necessary goals of bringing the exalt innovation to even more young people who have the power to change their lives.
