One of Cross Technologies' key values is our published catalog pricing. Cross uses cost-based pricing vs. value-based pricing that is often utilized by other manufacturers. Our product pricing is developed directly from the BOM (Bill of Materials) with a fixed percent for profit. Cost-based pricing is what allows Cross to publish standard catalog prices on our website for everyone to see and utilize for quick estimates (this pricing is subject to change, as noted on the site, when suppliers adjust their material cost to Cross). This type of pricing prevents our prices from being elevated by potential value-based pricing methodologies or when our factory loading fluctuates. The same pricing is offered to all of our customers so they are all treated equitably and fairly. Cross does have a few approved resellers who are all offered the same reseller discount, allowing them to assist us in our sales and marketing activities. A volume discount is available to all customers that place orders with larger volumes all at the same time (5% for qty 10+, 10% for qty 25+ and 15% for qty 50+).
