Hello! My name is Jiang Wei. This year, I took the college-to-university entrance examination and scored 387. I successfully passed and was admitted to Guilin Tourism University.
I am deeply grateful to Blessing Hands for the support and assistance you have given me during my high school and college years, which enabled me to focus on my studies and continue my education. However, my family is still facing tremendous financial pressure.
My father suffers from severe lumbar disc herniation and cannot engage in heavy physical labor, so our family has lost its main source of income. My mother has to stay at home to take care of the family and has no stable income. My younger brother is currently studying at a vocational high school. In addition, my grandfather passed away from cancer a year ago. Together with the medical expenses for his previous heart attack treatment and funeral costs, our family is now burdened with huge debts.
My grandmother has chronic hypertension and needs long-term medication, and has no income of her own. The combination of family debt and the educational expenses for multiple family members has made it impossible for my family to afford my undergraduate tuition and living expenses.
I have always worked hard and strived to advance my studies because I believe that education is the way to change my family's situation. Now that I have successfully been admitted to a university, I am still trapped by my family's heavy burdens.
Therefore, I earnestly ask the teachers and kind-hearted supporters of Blessing Hand to continue offering me your sponsorship. I will certainly study even more diligently and steadfastly, remain grateful, and live up to your kindness. In the future, when I have achieved something, I will do my utmost to pass on this love and support to others!
