Library Named in Memory of Lois Ann Connors '75
Lois Ann Connors '75, who passed after a long and valiant battle with multiple myeloma on July 26, 2021, had a Library and Media Center named in memory of her. Hills Garrison School in Hudson, NH is the new home to the Lois A Connors Library. A rocking chair has been placed in the Library by the Hills Garrison School PTO in her honor. A plaque on the chair reads: “Lois A. Connors – In memory of a great educator whose twenty-year dedication to our School will be forever honored.” Lois’ family graciously donated her substantial collection of children’s books to the school and attendees were invited to choose a book to keep. In each book, there is a label that reads: “Lois was extraordinary. She was an open book spreading her knowledge and sharing her love of literacy with those around her. This book is a gift from her personal collection. May it bring you as much joy as it brought Lois.” The photo below shows Lois' 1975 classmates who attended the dedication: Carla Everson Rossi, Betty DeAngelis Dalton, Jerry O'Connor-Fix, Kathy Ennis Cassin, Susan Mester Dickson, and Amy Wilson.

Join the Elms College Book Club for a Fresh Summer Read!
The Elms College Book Club would love for you to join us and embark on a new summer reading journey from May 27th through July 29th. We will read Things We Lost to the Water: A Novel by Eric Nguyen and discuss it in our online forum.
How Does the Book Club Work? The Elms College Book Club is online and asynchronous, which means that we connect through a private online discussion forum where members respond to different topics and questions about the books we read. We spend about two months reading each book to accommodate a wide variety of reader schedules and preferences, and we finish five books each calendar year. It is easy and free!
We look forward to reading along with you this summer!
