1.) Recorded Kickoff Webinar for Early Learning
Please see the below Vimeo Link for a recorded 38 minute webinar that will provide you information to start the year with Important calendar dates, Resources, Professional Development, Curriculum Resources and Licensed Program Guidance. I am excited to get this recording to you so you have a one-stop shop for information! I realized after I recorded the video that when I attempted to show parts of the Early Learning Landing Page that the screen did not switch to that website, so I have included the link to the landing page here as well so you can follow along as I am talking in the webinar. Tech fun! I am also going to send you an email by Monday night that includes attachments I mention in the Powerpoint and the powerpoint itself. Please let me know if you have any questions on the topics discussed!
2.) Monthly virtual Butterfly Pediatrics Conversations
Last year I received multiple notes/requests about staff dealing with student behaviors. During our December 9th, 2021 Early Learning Roundtable our partners from Butterfly Pediatrics joined us to discuss specific situations happening at your programs. It was a great hour of support and I am happy to announce that this year Butterfly Pediatrics will be joining us monthly for these discussions. On the 3rd Friday of each month from 11:30am – 12:30pm starting September 16th, experts from Butterfly Pediatrics will join us virtually to answer your questions and give resources/ideas about situations your teams are dealing with.
A week prior to each meeting I will send out a request for you to share a specific situation/example you are dealing with that you would like the experts from Butterfly Pediatrics to discuss during the virtual meeting. I will be sending these case studies in advance to the Butterfly team so they can be prepared to give you as much information as possible during our time together. Even if you are not able to join the meeting, you can still submit situations and we will record the conversations and send a recording link.
Please see link below for the Zoom access to these meetings.

3.) Licensed Only: Free STARS Trainings Monthly through Office of Catholic Schools:
September – Musically Minded with Jocelyn Manzanarez
During the 2022-2023 School year the Office of Catholic Schools will be offering one FREE STARS Training monthly. The trainings will vary on times, but will typically be weekday’s at 6:00pm or 6:30pm or Saturday’s around 9:00am.
I am working with STARS approved trainers to facilitate these sessions and most have and will continue to participate in our Early Learning Professional Development Day as well. Most of the trainings will have unlimited participation, however we did have to limit the size of the session for September.
September Training:
We welcome back Jocelyn Manzanarez of Circle Time Success, one of our most popular presenters during PD Day. Her session is going to be unique from the others because the trainings are recorded and you can take them anytime in September. We decided to do this because of the busy back to school month. You will have two options of sessions to take from Jocelyn. 1. Circle Time Certified; Tips, Tricks and TONS of activities to keep circle time FRESH, FUN and FULL OF LEARNING! OR 2. Yes! Uke'N Plan the Ukulele (Full Descriptions below). These trainings are open to all licensed staff (including you and anyone working in your program). We only have 20 slots for these great trainings so please register ASAP if interested. You will fill out the registration form below and then I will send you the enrollment link and coupon code to get access to the training! As a reminder I list and update regularly a variety of STARS approved trainings on the Early Learning Landing Page from a variety of different organizations that facilitate trainings.
