2025 Regional Water Supply Strategic Plan – Final
The CRD Board received the 2025 Regional Water Supply Strategic Plan, which was approved by the Regional Water Supply Commission on December 17, 2025. At its February 21, 2024 meeting, the Regional Water Supply Commission directed staff to update the Strategic Plan. Staff developed a draft, conducted two phases of public engagement (Phase 1 in late 2024 and Phase 2 in early 2025), and held parallel First Nations engagement. Updates based on this feedback were incorporated into the final 2025 Strategic Plan.

Bylaw No. 4713, “Building Regulation Bylaw No. 5, 2010, Amendment Bylaw No. 7, 2025”
The CRD Board reviewed the Building Regulation Bylaw which was amended to improve the efficiency, productivity, and service delivery of the Building Inspection Service. The updated bylaw will provide a discount for multi-unit affordable housing projects to align with the strategic objectives of the Rural Housing Program. The amendments also provide increased efficiency and flexibility for applicants and address changes in the electoral areas. The Board introduced the amended Building Regulation Bylaw, read it a first, second and third time and adopted it.

CAO Quarterly Progress Report No. 4 - 2025
The CAO’s fourth Quarterly Progress Report for 2025 provided the Board with a quarterly update on Corporate Activities and Initiatives, progress made on the 2023-2026 Board and Corporate Priorities, Capital and Operating Budget Variances, and People, Safety & Culture statistics up to December 31, 2025.
