Bringing Nourishment to Communities Across San Diego


Over the past several months, Grandma LuLu’s Table has continued to bring free, plant-based meals and community connection directly to neighborhoods across San Diego County. From Imperial Beach, Central San Diego, and North County, we are grateful for every opportunity to gather with our neighbors and share a nourishing meal. This work is made possible because of you—our generous donors, dedicated volunteers, and valued community partners. Your time, resources, and continued belief in our mission allow us to keep advancing food justice through plant-based solutions and meeting communities where they are.

Looking Ahead Through the

End of 2026

Our event calendar is set through the end of the year, and we look forward to continuing to serve our communities:

October 24 — Bridge of Hope, San Diego

November 21 — North County Veterans Stand Down, Felicita Park, Escondido


As we begin planning for 2027, we are looking ahead to the possibility of increased rainy weather and how we can continue serving our communities without interruption. We are seeking welcoming indoor spaces where we can gather with seniors, people experiencing homelessness, families, and others who are struggling with food insecurity. If you know of a space in the San Diego area that could help us continue bringing nourishing meals, connection, and care to those who need it most, we would love to hear from you. Your recommendations and community connections can help us keep the table open—rain or shine.

Our Creative Solution
Grandma LuLu’s Table is a creative solution to the childhood hunger and malnutrition crisis in the San Diego area. By taking a mobile kitchen to the places where hunger persists and offering a healthy, plant-based breakfast on weekends to people – especially children – in need.

Grandma Lulu's Table knows that a satisfying meal is just one part of caring for people. So we’ve developed a plan to 'feed the whole person'.
