Before the new year turns 2022 into a distant memory, I want to take a moment to reflect on what we have accomplished together, as a team and as a community, in the past 12 months.

With aLB’s mission of bridging language barriers and connecting cultural differences in mind, we have accelerated our journey to becoming the most reliable and innovative solution provider for communication needs. I am a firm believer that aLB’s greatest asset is our people, and our ability to come together as a team when demands placed upon us are at their most challenging. I consider myself very fortunate to lead such a dedicated and capable team.

In 2022, we managed to successfully deploy over 500 community ambassadors to cover 9,000+ shifts at COVID vaccination initiatives to combat the pandemic; we recruited 38 Farsi/Dari interpreters to join our pro bono efforts to provide over-the-phone interpretation services to assist Afghani refugee families; and we expanded our linguist network to include rare languages such as Cakchiquel, Karen, Nukuoro, and Yapese in order to fulfill requests from new clients. Our unwavering commitment to quality work also led us to two ISO certifications (ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 17100:2015) as we continue to scale our operation.

aLanguageBank is grateful to be the trusted solution provider to all our existing and new clients. Last year, we declared our intentions to go far and, since then, we have covered considerable ground. And now, we are more determined than ever to amplify this momentum heading into 2023.

On behalf of everyone at aLB, I thank you for your business and your continued faith in our team. Happy holidays and a happy new year!

Sincerely,
