Pardall Park Grand Opening Event Recap!

Our Pardall Garden Opening Ceremony was a huge success, welcoming 200+ community members to celebrate this new park space together. Students and neighbors stopped by on their way to class to grab bubble wands, treats, and cider, while many others stayed to enjoy live performances from The Bad Neighbors and DJ Zac and Selecta Alla, entertainment from the SB Bubble Guy, activities, and time in the park...

Please join the AS Food Bank and UCSB Thrive for this month's Pop Up Pantry and Resource Fair at Estero Park on Tuesday, February 24th from 2-4pm. Stop by for free produce and get connected with basic needs resources, including CalFresh enrollment services! This event is open to everyone, including UCSB students and Isla Vista community members. Families are encouraged to attend!

Stewardship Saturday Winter Quarter Schedule❄️

Need volunteer hours? Interested in gardening, native plants, park maintenance, helping out your local community, or simply spending time outdoors?

Come to our Stewardship Saturdays! Stewardship involves taking responsibility for the care, maintenance, and enhancement of public spaces. It is ensuring that parks, trails, and recreational areas remain clean, safe, and accessible for everyone in the community to enjoy. This includes activities like trash cleanup, restoring signage, planting trees, maintaining trails, and protecting local wildlife.

The IVRPD believes in the power of community involvement to keep our parks vibrant and healthy.
