"Drawing helps develop stronger hand-eye coordination, and problem-solving skills, and increases concentration. It can be very therapeutic in helping students imagine a hopeful future" according to Girija Kaimal, Drexel Professor, and researcher in art therapy.
The purpose of this drawing course is to teach students how to "see as an artist." (They are not required to know anything about art or be "gifted" in the area of drawing to take this course.)
They will learn how to SEE and OBSERVE shapes and lines with the benefit of knowing how to draw anything they SEE!
