50 Year Recognition

This past week, our home church, Temple Baptist Church in Springdale, Arkansas, recognized Sandy and me for fifty years in Missions.

Don Elmore and their entire family have been friends for fifty-five years of our ministry. When we resigned as a pastor in Gainesville, Texas, we moved to Sherman, where Don was the pastor, and they became our sending church. While in Kenya, the Elmore’s moved to Springdale, and then Temple became our sending church.

Our thanks to pastor Keith Buttram and the entire Temple family for this past weekend. In addition, it was great to have our daughters, Sara Toombs and Becky Marietta.

Sunday morning, I spoke on Fifty Years of GOD’S Faithfulness.

Our thanks to all of you who continue to pray and support our service for Him.

The journey continues, as I leave for Rwanda this week.
