For decades, the AAML Foundation has demonstrated that the Academy’s commitment to families extends far beyond the courtroom. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded grants to 178 charitable organizations in 33 states and the District of Columbia, providing more than $3.27 million in support to programs that strengthen and protect children and families.
The Annual Campaign for Billable Hour Donations remains the Foundation’s largest fundraising initiative and the driving force behind its ability to make these grants. Every contribution directly supports the Foundation’s mission and expands its ability to respond to the needs of worthy charitable organizations nationwide.
We are especially proud to share that the 2026 Billable Hour Campaign achieved its fundraising goal of $365,000 by July 31, 2026, and to date, the campaign has raised an extraordinary $376,265 this year. This accomplishment reflects the generosity, dedication and philanthropic spirit of AAML Fellows across the country. On behalf of the Foundation, we extend our deepest gratitude to every Fellow who contributed to this year’s campaign. Your support will directly impact the organizations and individuals who rely on Foundation grants and will help ensure that deserving charities continue to receive vital assistance.
